Can anyone help me out here? I really need to know if a different model fan would work without any issues for the CPU in my laptop. The laptop has now been unusable for weeks so I really need to know what the correct approach would be.

My CPU fan needs to be replaced because it's completely messed up. It makes a horrible rattling sound constantly and no amount of cleaning fixes it. Took it to a computer shop and their staff said that it has to be replaced. It is specifically the CPU fan, as the GPU fan still works fine...
