Here is where a real problem comes into play. In order for me to install this update the battery must be at 10% or higher as the program dictates. Unfortunately this very computer was given to us by some one else who simply didn't want it anymore. It has no detectable battery, and I have no idea...

I actually don't think my BIOS had been updated in years! My first time opening it was today. It crashes while the beep was commencing, and you know what happens when something crashes while audio is playing. (My sound was on max) Anyway, It says I need support assist. Is this right?

None, it just down right crashes before a can doing anything as little as pressing an arrow key once.

Well, thank you for your help and patients! I'll see if I can find my other questions else where. With most of that cleared up, perhaps one day I will have a better PC or Laptop. At Least I can run Oblivion!

While I couldn't say for sure, I can take a picture to of what I believe to at least be a graphics card. Would you like me to do this and use a handy site to allow you to see the image easily?

I don't have the original one. Also the screw was some where on the top corners, not the wires. I failed to catch my mistake in that response.
