    Your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU, because it's a good GPU but the CPU can't handle it too well. I suggest GEFORCE NOW cloud gaming for high-end gaming on low-spec or high-spec laptops, you need a good internet connection but it works out.

    16 gig of memory will help but really you'll need to do both...I have friends who've ditched their quad core cpu's recently because of poor game performance. That being said upgrading the memory should help with the frame drops.
