The thing is that I want to get a RTX 3080 in the future but not now, for now I only can afford a good CPU plus the mobo for it and keep my 1070 for at least 1 more year you know? so I'd like to get the best CPU possible and then get the 3080 Thank you for your opinion!

Your CPU is decent enough unless you want more performance then I would go for a RTX 2060 Super at least!

The mobo is fine just make sure your case is big enough for good airflow...

You mean i5 8600k? there would be no problem but I recommend you to get a NVIDIA card just cause they are better, for example a 1660ti, you pay like 100 bucks more and get much better performance :)

Yes I'm aware of that and I'll get a new MB but you think this CPU would work great with the 1070? or would be there some bottleneck?

I prefer the Seasonic ones but you should be fine either with the Corsair TM750X or Corsair CM750X :)
