    GPU Air Cooler Help

Thanks for the insight, guys! Might leave it off, then, as it seems like it'd likely be more trouble than it's worth, especially seeing as my graphics card is only really noisy when I'm gaming and I generally game with headphones on. My card came with a lifetime warranty, so I'll be voiding...

    GPU Air Cooler Help

Hey, I built a PC a few months back, and overall I'm very happy with it. Only problem is, I opted for the XFX 7950, which can be pretty loud. I'm looking for a VGA cooler to drop the noise and temps (around 70^o C while gaming) My build is in a Phantom 410, so clearance shouldn't be too much...

    Upcoming build check and advice.

Thanks very much guys. So, should I just stick with the build I posted at first, and just put any extra money I have on the day into the motherboard?

    Upcoming build check and advice.

Thanks, I'm reading through the review at the moment, and I think I'll take your advice and stick with the power supply I have. Just as a side note, the one you linked comes with none of the cables, so it wouldn't be much help. But thank's very much, you've put my mind at rest! How about the...

    Upcoming build check and advice.

I was really hoping for something modular, though. I've heard the Phantom can be a pain to build in with non-modular PSUs, and I'd like it to look nice.

    Upcoming build check and advice.

My main problem here is obviously price. The only TX650V2 I could find was on Amazon with an estimated dispatch time of 1-2 months, so that's not really something I'd be looking at. Any idea how the TX650M compares? With regards to the motherboard, how is the Asrock z77 pro 4? It's a bit...

    Upcoming build check and advice.

Hey, I'm a first time builder, and I intend on buys my parts within the next week. I've posted here before about this build, but I've changed my mind on a few things since then and extended my budget a bit, so I think I'll post again so you guys can have a look seeing as it's a big spend for me...

    7870 or 7950

Basically, I'm building a PC soon, and I'm wondering what graphics card I should get. I was thinking of getting a 7950, but I heard that the extra performance that it has over the 7870 is wasted if you're not gaming on anything over 1080p. Is there any truth to this? That do you guys think?

    Graphics card question

Thanks very much for the input, I didn't realize the 660 was so much better in benchmarks. I'm actually in Ireland and will be buying from UK websites, but the pricing difference is similar enough, so I think I will actually go for the 660. Thanks very much!

    Graphics card question

Hey, I'm going to be buying parts for my build soon, but am just finalising a few things. I was originally going to pick up a HD 7850, but now I've started looking at 7870s. I was just wondering if it'd be worth it, realistically. I'd be using the system for a bit of gaming now and then, but I...

    Very low budget PC

So, would an SDD not be worth it? Will I just go for some low-capacity 7200rpm mechanical drive?

    Very low budget PC

Okay, thanks guys. I was just wondering how big a drive I'd need, then? Their last Pc only had an 80GB one that was never more than 25% full after seven years, like.

    Very low budget PC

Delivery's no problem really, just a small bit extra, not much at all if you pick the right sites. Also, I was going for the low capacity SSD because they save pretty much nothing. It'll be used for nothing more than the OS and programs. As to why I opted for an SSD over a mechanical drive, it...
