didn’t change. installed the mobo back into the case, it recognised the new cpu, asked if tpm was active (chose Y bc it is not), the mobo leds light up one after another, then the boot light turns on, windows logo comes up, loads a little and then it’s just black screen.

Damn, i was about to upgrade my cpu form the 2700x to the ryzen 7 5800x3D. just need to wait a little. so if i upgrade my cpu to the 5800x3d i can change it from the gen3 to the gen4 thus gaining the full Re/Wr Speed, am i right?
