    Question CPU Questions and Concerns

I was looking to build or buy a some new PCs that had a 13900k, but considering, how 13900k's and 14900k's have been dropping like flies, I wasn't sure if getting a 13900k would be a good idea, Could a 12900k/12700k work too? Or too "ancient" Also how would a 4080 Super or 4070 Ti Or 4090 (If...

    Question PC Confusion

As mentioned in the title, I am confused as to figure out which parts I want to use.... Originally I was thinking of going with a 13700k and a RTX 3090 (maybe 3090 Ti EVGA) but now I changed my mind and wanted a RTX 4090 but I don't want to pay +$2,000 for a 4090.... The RTX 3090 seemed to be...

Build Advice PC Build Components (Last Call)

In my Defense, All white Motherboards are kinda a unicorn to find/buy for me (Often waayy to overpriced) Since I don't have any kind of micro-center (best I got is Bestbuy, Not great) I really do/want more VRAM in the GPU, Could an RTX 3090 + 1000W PSU work? or stick with what I got?

    Question LGA 1366 (X58) & LGA 2066 (X299) Are they still worth buying/using in 2023?

I bring this up because my dad has an old gaming pre-built from cyberpower that features an i7 920.... That PC has lasted him 15 years, so I am trying to find him an upgrade, but more of a PC that can do general/basic tasks.... Youtube, Email, Word Documents, Spreadsheets, etc..... He is not...

    Question LGA 1366 (X58) & LGA 2066 (X299) Are they still worth buying/using in 2023?

I meant to say if you had one whether you bought it brand new or got it as a "hand me down" from a relative or family member.... Still worth? Or massively outdated relic from when new and easily gets beaten by newer CPUs.

    Build Advice Secondary Systems Checkup/Build

I planned to build the PC that I linked with a 12900k originally, but after some thoughts I wanted to swap to a 13700k because it newer then a 12900k... And I planned to use a 14700k, but I wasn't sure if 14th Gen uses that LGA 1851 or still uses LGA 1700...... Which is a gamble

Also would this be a viable where I could swap out a 12900k with a 13700k? For the Second PC? Then spring for a 14700k for my main PC? Or stick with a 12900k, If Intel decides to use LGA 1851 for 14th Gen?

    Build Advice Secondary Systems Checkup/Build

Does any of this make sense? All existing B660, Z690 B760, & Z790 Motherboards should work, with all 14th Gen CPUs....along with a BIOS Update, Then again there Is a whole new socket LGA 1851 for 14th Gen CPUs, Not sure what to believe anymore...

    Build Advice Secondary Systems Checkup/Build

Yes, I still stand by my choice, granted the 12900k is dated, and gets it wrecked by newer CPUs, but I ignore that, because at the end of the day a CPU is a CPU, It's not like I'm advocating to buy a 4790k or 8700k brand new in 2023.... Intel didn't make the 12900k for no reason, I chose a...
