Try updating or re installing your Bios. Sometimes older Bios create issues like these. There is also a possibility the ram stick u have is not compatible with ur motherboard. try another brand.

I was using core 2 duo 3.0Ghz and i installed a R9 270X Toxic Edition. The card was bottle necking. It was only giving 50 to 60% performance. Now i ve installed a core 2 quad. Its performing very good and no bottleneck except for very bad optimized games AC syndicate. So i would recommend same...

i have window 7 64bit it start ups normal but shutdowns slow i ha core 2 quad q9400 2 gb ram n 80 gb hard drive n i scanned my system no virus detected i want to know what could be wrong my window take 1 min to shutdown it is very annoying

i bought a refurbished system dell precision t3400 i have core 2 quad q9400 geforce 9800( temporary from friend ) i got 2 gbb ecc ram n i want upgrade it to atleast 4gb n take it to 8 gb after some time .......................... my question is that should i sell my ecc ram n buy non ecc ram...

yea it would be better to re install windows if that does not work try overclocking the cpu then play games if u have ram below than 4gb then upgrade it ........................... http://ark.intel.com/compare/65694,65520 the core i5 3570k is a very gud processer for gaming also...

It wont make that much a diffrence it depends on the graphic card.

i only understand a little bit of wat u said the board has pci-e slot , has PSU of 525 w .............if it does not fit wat can i do to make it fit n wen it does will it work fine becuz where ever i search on the net it is saying it will bottle neck with the processor ....................

hey everyone i am buying Dell Precision t3400 which consist core 2 quad q6600 MB TP412 4 GB ram i am getting this for $140 second hand .....................i want to put in a graphic card Radeon HD 7850 .......................i want to know that can i get away with this card
