SOLVED: I downloaded ThrottleStop and went in to the TPL settings and unchecked Clamp.

now its idle again and core temps are like 43, 47, 52, 42, 43, 46, 41, 54. each comma is one second.

Free space is 3170MB. I turn off my computer every night. I downloaded core temp, and it seems that on idle the core temps seem to jump around quite a bit from 36 to 48, like back and forth. When i load into a game and the issue occurs, the temps level out around 46, and don't jump around...
