I have two instances of windows installed, when I boot it asks which volume id like to boot to, one is listed as volume 8 but the other has no volume # Volume 8 boots perfectly if i boot to the 2nd instance my PC crashes How can i find this 2nd instance and delete it so it always boots to vol 8

It was a busted card. Tried the card in my old rig and same crash. Bought a new card and it works just fine. Thee fact the it was turning on when the PCIe card was inserted but the graphics card had no issues was a good indication of the faulty network card.
