so even without the GPU on the motherboard, the PSU could still provide enough juice for the fans, including the CPU fan... but fail to boot the CPU? (and fail to reach post)

I recently made my first home-build, put everything together correctly etc, followed the manuals, made sure everything was compatible etc. Basically, it didn't work. The computer turns on, but then it hits a state of constant reboot (no post, no display) Gigabyte- GA787x Intel Core i7 4770K...
