    6-Way 2-Bay NAS Round Up

I would have loved to see how data rot, rebuild speed (full downtime, if any), where handled on the NAS's. As for the most part speed isn't much of a concern for me personally, as long as its "fast enough" which all of these are. I'm much more concerned about data rot and ease of maintenance.

MSI 990FXA Gaming Versus ASRock 990FX Killer

I just built a system with a FX-8320 and a ASrock 970FX KILLER board (from Microcenter, CPU was $109 and Motherboard was $69 with a $40 instant rebate) and i noticed the best clock i could get out of it was 4.3GHz with a EVO 212 cooler. And i find this very odd, because i have a 3+ year old...

    How does a UPS work?

It should be understood that a UPS does nothing while supplied with current, other than act like a simple surge protector. Its not a good idea to run off a cheap UPS if you have a lot of power outages, which i don't think you have as i noticed even $40 cyberpower ups's have simulated sine wave...

TP-Link Wants To Heal Home Networking Headaches With An AC1900 Touch Screen Router

Would be much better if they just has a bluetooth connection and an app for your phone. Or maybe just use the WPS button (vs keeping it open, if not just open) and an app vs the typical web access (IP), or even keep the web access and offer a mobile version when accessed!!! i know its not hard...

    FX-4350 10% off or FX-6300

I would agree with johnnyb105, but.. new games are starting to really use more than two cores. Both stock or overclocked light tasks you can give to the G3258 easy.. you also have to be aware that SATA on AM3+ chipsets at best knock %20 from SSD performance. I got a 990fx board 3 years ago...

XFX Radeon R7 370 2GB Black Edition Review

Regarding overclocking the core, when I got my HD 7950 some years ago and I hit 1125 on the GPU and the max memory of 1625 I noticed the same fluctuations. I then ran msi afterburner (which also extends clock limits, but not power limit) to get a nice graph of what was going on, turns out it was...

System Builder Marathon Q3 2015: Prosumer PC

There should be a bargain prosumer that hits all the check marks. I built a FX-8320e @4.5Ghz (very small voltage bump, max 54c after two hours of prime95) with a Cooler Master HYPER T4, 16GB ddr3 1866 cas 9, 850 EVO 250GB ssd, TWO Toshiba 2TB drives in soft RAID-1 (smart UPS is a must in that...
