    That may be the issue. But, from the asus website. The CPU becomes supported from a later bios flash. As well when purchasing the mobo, I went ahead and followed the motherboard tier list offered by this site. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2384008/motherboard-tier-list-990fx-chipset.html

    Computer will not POST. Red CPU Led on mobo.

    So the above solution did not work. I went ahead and RMA'd the motherboard. After 10 days of repair. It was sent back today. No noticeable changes, go ahead and install all the components and the Red CPU LED continues to persist. I am lost now.

    Update: Tried doing a bios flashback to the latest update via USB. That was successful but the red light continues to persist.
