you could with that cpu and otherboard, but what matters is which psu, (power supply) you are currently using

you can seat the second one anywhere as long as: a) the link is phsically x16 b) the link is didgitaly/electrally running at x16 or x8 c) the cards are close enough for the sli bridge to connect

they are both 780 ti cards, just that one uses an evga cooler and the other uses an asus cooler, but the chip and memory are same so you can easly sli them, as long as your psu is able to supply sufficent power to both cards

are you using a laptop or a desktop? are you using wifi, ethernet, powerline adaptoprs, or something else?

windows 8 vs 7 is prefeance but win 7 is still solid so id go with the i5, its more powerfull

go with the i3, amd laptops are good for gaming because they have a better igpu but for internet, and coding, the i3 is better, better cpu performance

yea the reason why you dont see that much of an increase is that a better gpu allows you to game at higher setttings while your cpu limmits your framerate, unless you lack the gpu power for your current settings, so their test system was limmmited to 55 fps or so by cpu, where as the 1080p...

i disabled c1, turbo core, all powersaving fetures and set the cpu voltage (only voltage option in bios) to 1.408, if i set the clock to 4.3 ghz then the system runs at 1.45 volts and if i set it to 4.4 ghz it runs at 1.47 volts
