I was looking into buying a new cpu and atm i just have a Ryzen 5 1600 on my rig with the Tomohawk B350 Motherboard. I was wondering if a Ryzen 5 2nd gen proccesor would work with my motherboard

Ok im going to build my pc pretty soon and just one question say if im moving houses and i have my pc built and have carpet floors,when im taking it out my house(when moving out) and causing static electricity on the way out will it harm my pc or no because im touching my pc case.
