If its a stuttering issue, perhaps you should try doing a rollback on your drivers. Making sure VSync is disabled in all games would be wise as well, as vsync can cause stuttering issues.

Ask your friends what they have, and go with that. If you don't have any gaming friends, go with the console with the exclusives that sound more interesting to you. If you don't care about exclusives, get whichever one you can find for the least amount of money.
