The same thing happened to me a few years ago. I replaced my cooler with a brand new one and it ran perfectly after that. I also downloaded Core Temp for free and installed it. You might want to look into that. Pierre

I thought that installing a DVI-D cable would allow me to get a resolution of 2560 X 1440 (max for my monitor) but Windows 10 won't allow more than 1920 X 1080. What do I do?

I solved it. I changed ownership from "Administrator" to Administrators."

Commonly when you want to access My Documents for the first time, it will say you do not have access to this folder. During that pop up dialog appears you should click 'Continue' to have full access while using the Administrator's account. Should that thing not appear and instead something else...
