I set up the DNS's to google everywhere i could, still not doing much.

Just the extender. There is a light display that represents connection, if it even flashes red for the signal getting weaker it drops the browser, steam and whatsapp connections. But like i said, my nomachine was unaffected by that.

So would i set that on the base router, or on the extender? And can i use openDNS or googleDNS or something?

the fan is held in place by some rubber connector which seem very vercetile, so i doubt it would cause much stress on the structure of the fan, or on the ram.
