I can get the hard drive to show up in BIOS sometimes when I mess around with the cables, but then it makes the PC take a long time to start up and when it does, the hard drive is still not working properly or showing up in disk management.

Any idea on what I can try doing? I opened my PC and made sure the hard drive was connected but still doesn’t read it.

The BIOS is the startup menu right? It showed up for a second when I switched it from SATA 1 to SATA 2, but then now it says Driver Unknown. I'm trying to add screenshots and it's not working cause when I try to post I get errors. Also, I realized that I just updated it to Windows 1803 not 1903.

Shows up nowhere, I just have an empty desktop and the same error.
