I want to wipe the Hard drive BARE! I don't exactly have the OS Disk. I am at a total lose at how to get the OS back onto the Mac. I have Mac OS X version 10.9.1 I know DBAN is possible on Mac, but I just really need to know how to obtain the OS install either via Disk or flash drive.

Thanks, for the information. Samsung drives look pretty reliable. The 500GB should be well big enough OS, programs, and games galore.
