All five inputs do show up in device manager-except they show with the standard "HD Audio Device Microsoft Driver." So, they never work with that driver.

No, Realtek never shows as an audio device.

Does anyone else have a different input please?

Still nothing. Installed it like that and it says failed to start "code 10". I am about to give up on this headache and buy a usb audio :/

Haha, no worries, yes, I chose the Windows 7 download. Audio is enabled in the BIOS as well. I can't enable it from device manager because the only thing I see are five "HD audio devices" which I assume are the five ports. Yet, they use the standard Microsoft drivers. I never see Realtek pop up...
