Approximately how long does the Windows 10 install take? I need to unplug my laptop and take it with me for a 1,5hour busride, and am afraid the battery could die. The bus ride is in an hour right as I'm writing this. Can I grab the laptop with me or is it too big a risk?

Turns out there was a problem with a switch I was using. Plugging the ethernet cable directly into the wall works. Sorry for wasting your guys' time.

Here's where my knowledge runs out. I can try using another port, but what do you mean use static instead of DHCP?

As I stated in the top post, I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. But there's no harm in doing it again, so I'll try asap.

I should add that it's only my Desktop that has this issue. Other computers in the house works fine, phone's too. I will try another ethernet cable.

My ethernet connects to the internet, and says that it has internet access, but nothing that requires internet works. Browser loads forever, until they tell me the website took to long, multiple programs are checking for updates with no hint at finding one, , you get the idea. WiFi works just...
