What I meant was, there is an extra pcie slot left(after two gpu occupied out of three pcie ) and I am curious if that can support a pcie based ssd in addition of sli configuration.

I have this set up of motherboard with sli enabled configurations(https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B550-E-GAMING/), but I am thinking of adding this nvme 8tb pcie x8 to my set up which going to be put into my third pcie slot. I wonder if this is possible to do and is there any concern...
