Question Meta Quest 2 for Racing Sims

I found I got a better FOV without the glasses and theres no distortion around the edges. The big thing for me is it's much easier to take on and off and it's comfortable. Before I'd get a headache after about an hour as the glasses are pressed into my head. Now I'm able to play for hours...

Question Meta Quest 2 for Racing Sims

Hi @Roland Of Gilead, I got prescription lenses for the VR headset last week. Looks better and much more comfortable than glasses for me, I'd highly recommend them if you've ever thought about it. I know what you mean by forehead fatigue, my solution was to tilt the headset down slightly so it's...

    Question Razer Blade 15 ?

Hi Roland, It's the 2022 15 Advanced. I've read most of the reviews I'm just always eager to hear the thoughts from people that use these things. As it happens I decided to buy one in the end and have literally just opened it. First thoughts are it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but...

    Question Older PC

I used a 3080 with a i7 6700K for 6 months, it works but you won't get the proper benefit from it without a CPU.

    Question Razer Blade 15 ?

Hi guys, Anyone have any experience with the Razer Blade 15 laptops? I know Razer has a somewhat unfavorable reputation for customer service but would like to know what people that one think of it. Thanks

Question Regarding my Ryzen 9 5900X Cinebench score ?

If your not using PBO and XMP is disabled then it doesn't sound out of the ordinary. I would run the RAM at higher than 2666Mhz though. I assume your running it like that because you have 4 DIMM's and it wasn't stable at 3600Mhz. If that's the case I would try 3200Mhz instead. Also, your scores...

Question Is a RTX 4060 worth it?

I would say yes, but it's one of the cheapest options where I live and only slightly more expensive than the RX 7600.

Question Graphics Card With CPU Combination?

An i7 7700 or 7700K would be fine with the 1650. The K means the CPU is unlocked, so it can be overclocked if you have a Z170 or Z270 motherboard. The K also has a higher base clock but in your case the 7700 is fine. Only CPU's with the F suffix lack integrated graphics. My only other thought...

Question Graphics Card With CPU Combination?

Unfortunately, the G4400 will not be able to run most modern games because it has only 2 cores and 2 threads. So there will be many games that are playable on the 1650 that will not run with the 2 core CPU.

Question Which graphic card will be better in my pc?

They are similar in performance, with the 1070 being a little faster in older games and the 1660 Super sometimes slightly faster in newer games. The extra 2GB of VRAM though may be beneficial in some instances.

Question Looking for a new GPU to replace my dead GTX 1050 Ti

My preference would be the 2060 Super, however you will need a new PSU for all of them except perhaps the 1660 Super which has a minimum requirement of 450W. All would be a substantial upgrade over your 1050 Ti though. I don't know what your prices are but the 1660S would probably be the most...

Question Which GPU is better ?

It's difficult to tell what model it is, going by the clock speeds it might be an AMD Radeon HD 7670. It's probably not going to be that much better than the integrated GPU.

Question Asus Gaming Laptops: user experience and durability ?

I know what you mean, most laptops do seem to run like the surface of the sun. They aren't all like that though, some are very conservative with their clock speeds under sustained loads so will run in the 60's and 70's rather than 90's. In the case of Asus you can control the power limits of the...

Question Asus Gaming Laptops: user experience and durability ?

I've heard good things about Dell in the past actually in terms of their customer service. I like the XPS line but the XPS 15 seems to have some flaws that affect it's performance. I'm looking at something for gaming, light productivity and general use, either a 14" or compact 15".

Question Asus Gaming Laptops: user experience and durability ?

I can understand why you attempted it yourself, from my experience when you send something off for repair they don't take good care with it. I've also heard a number of reports about fan issues too, particularly with the G14.
