UPDATE: I just tried connecting my boot drive to my pc via usb, and my computer booted up like normal.
I can now access all files on that drive, but cannot see anything on my hard drive.
The os is Windows 10 64 bit and the old system specs were the same except the case was a Cooler Master N200, and the motherboard was an Asrock z170m pro4s
Thank you, that helped! I changed the SATA port, and now bios sees my boot drive. It still does not appear under Boot Priority though, and I do not know how to boot off of this drive.
Thank you for the help, but I am not using a modular power supply. The drive that I am trying to boot from is crucial and not western digital ( sorry for the misinformation).
Thanks for the help! I do not know what my M.2 ssd is. My sata ssd is a crucial (sorry I just checked its not western digital) 2.5 inch solid state drive. It does not say any more info on it and I can't check speccy because my computer isnt working :mad:. My sata hdd is a western digital 1 tb 64...
Hello, I recently got a new motherboard and case, and I put all of my previous components into the two. Install was a breeze, but when I tried booting up my computer, there were no drives under boot priority despite having 3 drives installed. After some messing around, I got it to see my M.2...
My computer has recently been randomly shutting off and when I try to turn it back on, the computer turns on but the monitor says no signal. If I take out my graphics card ans use the on board display it works fine.
