[SOLVED] Want to move sata HDD with W10 (upgraded from W7) from old sandy bridge board to B560M board. But W10 is installed as mbr.

Want to move sata HDD with W10 (upgraded from W7) from old sandy bridge board to B560M board. But W10 is installed as mbr. Will setting CSM mode in BIOS let me install this drive as boot drive or do I have to change W10 to gbr before I swap?

Has anyone used a GTX 950 with older drivers (older than 355.xx)?

An older game I like doesn't play well with the newer drivers

Has anyone used a GTX 950 with older drivers (older than 355.xx)?

Nvidia says the earliest drivers usable with a GTX 950 are 355.xx and later. Has anyone tried using 353.xx or earlier with a 950?

2nd hand vtx hd radeon 7750 good or bad deal?

Well in that case you'd be much better off with a 7750. That's the amd equivalent of a gtx 650 and it'll run older games maxed out. See this chart. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html

2nd hand vtx hd radeon 7750 good or bad deal?

I wouldn't get it unless it was almost free. A GTX 750 (non ti) new would be inexpensive and way more powerful. Anyhow I don't think the 7750 needs a supplemental psu connector (neither does the 750)

Is a Dual 4 Pin Molex To 8 Pin PCI-E OK to use on a GTX 950 with an 8-pin socket.

Might get an EVGA GTX 950 card that's marked down. Only problem is that it takes an 8 pin PCI-e pug instead of the usual 6. But my PSU (Antec VP450 450W) only has one 6-pin pci-e plug. So would a Dual 4 Pin Molex To 8 Pin PCI-E adapter be safe. It's a factory OC'd GTX 950, so it's not a high...

    Recommended GPU Upgrade

What kind of power supply do you have. If it's under 500W, even a GTX 960 would wipe the floor with a 650 Ti and cost a good deal less than a GTX 970

Have entry-level nvidia graphics cards gotten too long?

Noticed a trend of GTX series graphics cards getting longer and longer, presumably for a better cooling solution. I can see this for X70 and X80 level cards, but why on earth would a 750 Ti or even 950 Ti need to be 10.5 inches long? This is 3 inches past PCB. Is that to provide a decent cooling...

Will this GPU be enough for a GTX 760 video card?

Thinking about upgrading GTX 650 video card to a Zotac GTX 760. But I understand card wants a minimum of 500W PSU with 30A. My present PSU is a Antec vp-450 450W with 2 18A 12V rails (36A in total?). Not too much in my rig. One sata HD, one dvd burner, one case fan, one sound card, I5 2500 (not...

New video card for this 3 year old 1155 mobo--hoping I don't have to flash bios again!

I've got a gigabyte ga-b75m-d3v motherboard that's 3 years old. UEFI bios. Bios has been upgraded to F10, but that's still 3 years old; newest bios is F13 which is 2 years old. I've got a GTX 650 on their now. Want to upgrade to a GTX 950, but I'm wondering if my board will take it without yet...

Will I be able to install a 9.5 inch (24 cm) video card in this mobo?

This is the board. Gigabyte ga-b75m-d3v. Will a 9.5 inch video card (dual slot) fit on this (without hitting the sata ports in white)?
