ive been running it for a short bit and it seems fine to me more fps then win 7 in certain games the only problem ive found is if i leave my pc locked for a bit like halk an hour when i log back on everything is closed and it logs on as if i just turned it on

i dont think so because the core multiplier is whats deciding the core speed so if you change the voltage but not the core multiplier is wont go to a higher clock

never and when i say never i MEAN NEVER use a pogram to overclock your cpu and can you tell use what mobo you have so we can say if you can overclock on it

do not use 2 970 for 4K use 2 or more 980 or a titan x

the 290x is a bridge less card so you do not need a bridge to run in crossfire

if your happy with that mobo then yeah its fine

could you use pc partpicker to make it easier to look at the parts

all you have to do is change the res in the gam settings but if you have a 4k monitor i would play it at 4k because if you play it at a lower res it looks blurry

they normanly boost when 1 or 2 cores are being used and the temp is low enough

if your temp of the cpu is low enough the cpu will turbo boost but i didnt think it boosts to 4.8

are you planning to OC or not?

if you want to play at 1440p i would recommend buying a r9 290 because it has 4GB ram which will help while playing games at that resolution
