Thank you for the reply, My laptop is Asus vivobook 14, x415EA model, and yes I did try to reinstalling my OS several times, and every time the same problem occurs, I tried going back to win 10, but there was a same problem. I didn't have any type of restore point made though.

My laptop was alright when I bought it brand new, but after update for some reason there is a spike in RAM when I open the task manager. The two tasks called "Desktop window manager" and "Windows Explorer" are eating up to 30% of my RAM. Is there any solution to this specific problem?

it will be a big problem upgrading another processor to i32300 socket mainly bios problem will arise means it might not be compatible i suggest you better buy another motherboard itself
