    So after some googling it seems that it's NZXT Cam itself that is the culprit. (See here) Strange that the program wouldn't show the high temp on its own dashboard but send it through Windows.

    Hm. On the lower-left part of a screen there is a small, square message balloon from which various notifications pop up. That's where it appeared. It's gone now but I it said it was from something along the lines of "Microsoft.notifications". I'm new to Windows 10 (spent a decade in Mac world)...

    I got a notification from Windows that my CPU temp is 81 degrees C. When I look at NZXT Cam it's telling me the temp is around 35 degrees C. So which one is more reliable?

    Thanks. I believe my motherboard maxes out at 2666 MHz for the RAM. Does going over affect performance at all or not? (Figure it can't do more than 2666 but assuming the extra just doesn't get used?)
