the old thermal paste on the gpu was solid when i took it off and it was hot... cleaning and reapplying seemed to do it. Its sitting at atounr d70C hot spot now with the actual value usually being 65C

the case 100% has adequate cooling. I have 3 intake, 2 for the cpu pump, and one exhaust and there is plenty of room inside the case

when switching to my new mobo, my gpu started spinning its fans at max speed most of the time when gaming. I noticed that whenever the gpu hot spot listed in hwmonitor goes down to around 80C the fans go down signifcantly but usually go right back up. Any ideas on what this can be? It is an msi...
