    You can get a 1080 now and add another one later (if necessary) And otherwise your cpu should be fine with 2 1070's.

    Adware not going away

    You should indeed google the specific adware name, you'll find a few forums that will guide you in the process of removing the adware. IF this doesn't work try some kind of quick anti rootkit programs or something.
