Sorry for the late reply. I originally set the fan target temp to 70 degrees f. Realizing my mistake, I changed it to 55 degrees. The fan is quiet until I start running minecraft for awhile, then it will increase in RPM to a high whir. I tried opening the case and the fan ended up slowing down...

Thanks guys for the ram suggestion. I'll look into getting another 4gb stick. Can someone please tell me why so little of my current ram is usable? 2.97/4 is usable according to my computer. I'm not sure of any safe ways to up that number. Total noob at this.
