Dell Windows XP Professional x64 Reinstallation Disc

I used the OEM disk and the product key from the sticker. My guess is that the sticker is for a retail copy and not OEM.

Dell Windows XP Professional x64 Reinstallation Disc

It installed it without a problem but the product on the system and sticker are different (checked it with Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder). I tried to changing the product key using Microsoft's recommended steps, just to make sure that the product key on the sticker is legit but it doesn't work.

Dell Windows XP Professional x64 Reinstallation Disc

I bought one of these discs on eBay (Part No. 0P949K) and inside the CD envelope there was also a product key sticker. The sticker isn't for the Windows XP Pro 64 bit but for Windows XP Pro 32 bit. Do the Dell reinstallation disc's come with a product key sticker? Is this a pirated copy? It...

Changed cpu, now cpu fan speeds up when in BIOS

I didn't find anything about cooler upgrade either. The cooler in the Optiplex 790 SFF is the same one that you see in the "Dell OptiPlex 790 Owner's Manual", which isn't small.

Changed cpu, now cpu fan speeds up when in BIOS

If your talking about the fan, I'm still using the same fan from the i3 to the i7. No cooler. I think I fixed the fan problem by reseting the CPU. I removed the CMOS battery and unplugging the pc, then turned it on again. The fan speed seems to have lowered, especially when I go into the BIOS...

Changed cpu, now cpu fan speeds up when in BIOS

I Installed a new cpu (from i3-2130 to i7-2600), now the cpu fan speeds up drastically when I go into the BIOS settings. The pc is a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF. This hasn't happened before, so I would like to know what can I do to fix this? Is the new cpu defective? Or what?

How to remove vPro from PC?

From your response, I can that your feelings got hurt but this has nothing to do about your ego. It does have everything to do about giving out correct information. The question was never answered and yet your answer was awarded "Best Solution". That's not right and very misleading; the...

How to remove vPro from PC?

I spoke to an Intel engineer in regards to this and he confirmed that replacing the motherboard with one that doesn't have vPro embedded is the only way to remove vPro. That's the resolution to my question because I asked how to remove and NOT disable it.
