Got the SAME EXACT problem.
I've just spent 4 hours trying to fix, no way.
I will try again the 19.12.1 before slamming the 5700XT into its original box and sending it back to where it came from.
I'm hating AMD, and I am hating money because if I had some more money I would have picked a...
I am in this situation: the old cade from where I had taken the motherboard is a big doubt.
I do not remember how did I unmount the motherboard and if this was the initial situation but now I do not know how to mount the motherboard back.
This is a pre-assembled PC and I seriously need to mount...
Here in Italy if you buy "Sold and Shipped by Amazon" you have 2 years warranty with amazon itself, so if the card stops working well you just contact them and they reimburse you or give a replacement.

I'm gonna buy a new video card soon (rx5709/5700xt or 2060 super, I'm still choosing) but I just wanna get some more informations about the monitors avaiable as I need to be...
I understand your point.
As I play in 1080p 144hz, do you think that a reference 5700 (and not the 5700xt) could satisfy me for 2 years just like the 2060 super, or I should push my budget to a 2060 super/rx 5700xt on amazon?
The 5700 reference would be bought sold and shipper from amazon, so no...
Yea I was speaking about the reference 5700.
Inno3d, anyway, has no support here in Italy.
The RX5700XT AIB model from Sapphire is 450€ vs the 320 euros of the reference 5700.. that's why I was considering the reference 5700, like 130 euros saved
Hello everyone.
After building my new rig with Ryzen 3600, 16gb 3200mhzc16, b450 gaming plus, and researching for a new 144hz monitor that i'm gonna buy, I found myself at the last decision.
After watching many gaming benches online I really cannot decide between a rx5700 and a 2060 super.|

Hello everyone.
After building my new pc (I still didn't buy a GPU but I'm gonna do very soon) I wanted to buy a new 144hz screen.

I have seen that on reddit, but it's obvious that if something goes wrong then I will still have a 5700.
My question was just if a 5700 would be enough for 1080p 144hz for at least 2 years or if the 5700XT would last for some more.
Corsair CX550M.
The reference XT is hot, that was the problem.
But I mean.. my main question is: if I had to buy something that can survive in 144hz 1080p for like 2 years, would the 5700 be a good choice or it's way way way better going for the xt version? I could get a AIB model for some...
