Dxdiag problem and i can't play anything.

So what the bottom line is: your mobo and your Graphics card are two different outputs with two different drivers. You will only use your graphics card if you are plugged into it, otherwise you use the built in graphics and the other display adapter. Plugging into the graphics card will fix the...

Dxdiag problem and i can't play anything.

What this is saying is that the computer is not using your graphics card. Are your monitors are plugged into the ports on your graphics card? When you go to device manager what display adapters are listed?

Gigabyte laptop slowly but progressively crashing/freezing.

Sounds to me like it is time to return it on warranty, Gigabyte laptops generally run hot but shouldn't be quite that bad at peak. I would have recommended a re-install but since you have done that and it is under warranty I would noit recommend opening it up to take a look, just RMA it.

Is it worth it to buy an open box laptop from newegg?

They shouldn't be any worse than a new laptop for all intents and purposes. What laptop are you looking at specifically? I can take a look at it if you would like.

    What vga should I choose?

The 1060 is your best bet. It has less memory than the 960 but is significantly faster.

What operating system are you using? You may be able to reset it but I need to know that first.

Need to know if my CPU temps are good

Those temperatures are definitely in acceptable ranges, no damage should come from it.

Ecc memory on non ecc mobo

Seems that way since DDR4 is already getting pretty cheap, the motherboards as well. They need to start putting disclamers that it is not for normal MOBO's or I am going to go insane.

Processor perfoming worse after upgrading to a new gpu

Do that first and we can go from there. Also know that the result should never be exactly the same. You could have also been overclocking on the first and not the second, just a thought.

Processor perfoming worse after upgrading to a new gpu

Upgrading your GPU should have no affect on the processor. Were you running more programs on your computer the second time? Also the first benchmark looks a little high to me anyway given the age of the processor. Not a bad one by any means, but a decent age for sure.

    Need a graphics card

In that price range you aren't going to get the best card ever, but the GTX 960 is a good choice and will run everything at at least medium. If you prefer AMD the RX 460 is also a nice choice.

Would this be a good monitor for Gaming?

Depending on the game you are playing a 144hz monitor is recommended if you can afford it. It especially makes a difference in twitch shooters like Counterstrike or COD. I personally use this monitor and love it...
