I've got a MSI 970A-G43 motherboard and the AMD FX-6300 cpu. The system is stable with the default settings. On the CPU box, it says that its unlocked out of the box with up to 8 cores, even though the CPU is sold as a 6 core processer. The motherboard manual documents how to unlock the CPU...
