It even happens to my old gtx 1060 it drops by 200MHz... interesting Discord is forcing CUDA P2 state when its running. I found a solution on reddit. Run nvidiaProfileInspector and disable Cuda force P2 state from the discord profile This worked for both my GTX 1060 and RTX 2070

I just miss the time when we used to buy a nice combo CPU-board-Gpu at a reasonable price and being able to run it with a reasonable psu and a cheap air cooler 20-30 eu-dollars... Now everything is expensive , power hungry with high temps even in the mid range.

Technology moving backwards.....this is sad each new gen needs more power and extreme cooling solutions.
