    Some people were saying it was normal, just wanted to make sure. Probably will contact WD support and ask them about it as well as a drive test.

    I have replaced my Western Digital hard drive twice, both times the drive makes this whine sound that lasts a second or two at shutdown. I have isolated the noise as when I unplug the HDD, the noise goes away? Any idea what it could be? https://youtu.be/5ofA5CvMt40 (noise is around 0:03)
