How is the monitor connected? HDMI? If so, you need to adjust the scaling in Catalyst Control Center. If not, try auto-adjust in the monitor's menu. Hope this helps.

Not only is that board not a good overclocker, it doesn't officially support the 83xx CPUs. I had the same board with my 8350 and it was a nightmare, unstable even at stock. The issue is with the VRMs as they are only 4+1 phase and can't deliver the power the CPU needs when under load.

What is the make and model of the board? I've never seen this one before, but if you're on Windows, you can go into Disk Management and assign the hard drive a different drive letter. That might be your answer.
