It can be both wireless connecting to usb receiver and wired with a cable. I've tried both but I can't type with either. But the rgb does light up when I connect it with a usb cable

Its a RedDragon K530. I've used it off and on with my laptop for a while and it works fine, but it doesn't seem to connect to my new pc

Yes tried both the 2 ports in the front of the case and the 5 in the back, but no luck :/

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the usb cable for the keyboard in every available port but none of them works. The only other thing that is plugged in is the usb drive as the windows boot drive.
