You're right. I don't know why I transposed the configuration with a gateway I have. The computer is a desktop with just 1 pci-e and 2 pci slots. The power supply is standard Dell 255w and the processor is 65w E8400 @ 3Ghz and 4g (2x2) memory. The video source will be a DircetTV box. Thanks

I have a gateway dx4720 with an intel e5200 cpu and a fsb speed of 800 ghz. I wish to replace it with an intel e8400 with a fsb speed of 1333 mgz. Will this work, or will the different buss speeds cause problems?
