A graduate of the Lowell Institute of MIT, Oliver A. Masciarotte has spent over 40 years immersed in the tech space, working on facilitation, marketing, and product development for clients such as Apple, Harper Collins, The Hit Factory, NASA Johnson, NPR, Pioneer, the San Francisco Symphony, Sony, WHYY and Universal. A contributing writer to audioXpress, his work has appeared in Mix, dB, Surround Professional and Electronic Musician. Additional writings include a book covering file–based music for the home. “OMas” holds one U.S. patent for a Detection System & Method for mobile device application. As an invited presenter at numerous trade conferences and member of the AES, SMPTE and DCS, he enjoys informing folks about technological best practices. At present, Masciarotte is CMO and co–founder of MAAT Incorporated, a developer of pro audio hardware and software solutions.
