How big of an improvement are we talking? The 730 is still quite old compared to the 1030, so twice as better?

As the title says, I'm looking for a low profile gtx 1050 ti that would fit in my current ideacentre case. The problem is that so far all 1050 ti's (msi, gygabyte, zotac) are too long. The maximum length would preferably be about 150 mm ( 5.906 in.) Thanks for any help.
