    I wouldn't worry about your PSU. I run a AX760i in my dual 780 and overclocked 4770k setup at home and have never run into any issues whatsoever. 32GB ram to boot.

    Here you go: i7 4770K @ 4.3, EVGA 780 Reference SLI @ +250 on Core and + 375 on RAM. Max Temp of 71C w/ fans upped to support the OC and Power Point set at 103% at 87C.

    I don't believe it is entirely necessary for you to wait for Skylake. You can get noticeable improvements right now. From a GPU perspective, you would see a rather big improvement jumping to a current gen GTX 760 versus your 260.
