Alright, That being said, would it be best if i went with an intel mobo and processor then an fx series? or is it just the wrong precessor type for gaming?

I am currently planning on buying a 24" monitor with this build, running at 1920 x 1080. Do you think the graphic loss would be so substantial that I should keep the 7950? Or is it useless to get such a card with out a good CPU.

i was thinking the 4170, because it has 4 cores, and they are clocked at 4.2 ghz stock.
