I can say that i successfully swopped cpus from a Asus x53s (rPGA-989 I7-2670qm) to a Dell Latitude E5420 (rPGA-988B I3-2310m). I7 ----> DELL and I3 ---->ASUS.. It worked both ways! On the Dell with a I7 i had to turn of Speedstep to make it perform as wanted in prime 95. if not the cpu was...
