just reset bios and start the PC see if it starts with factory bios. If not there is something else wrong. YOu only have to remove it for like 10 sec and press the cmos reset button on the mainboard.

right! I had similar issue after flashing my bios. I skipped around 5-8 version but the PC wasnt doing anything after flashing. If the PC dont boot up after cmos reset something is wrong with hardware anyway.

I bought my x670-ae-gamingx-ax_e last year few months after it came out. I had same concern but decided to buy it to upgrade if needed few years later. Running it with PCI 4 Card works fine with no problems. PCI 5 will come anyway so buying a board with both is good choice.
