Question Waterforce X360 display only works when I close GIGABYTE Control Centre.

No such option in the GCC settings, but turning the "sync off" and turning it back on also fixes it. It does go blank again after a system reboot or quitting GCC and relaunching it.

Question Waterforce X360 display only works when I close GIGABYTE Control Centre.

Here's a video I recorded of this glitch. I have all of my GCC software up-to date. Googling this issue tells me something about displays being bricked and exchanging the cooler for a new one, or trying out a different motherboard connection, but there's nothing mentioning about how quitting...

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

Thanks, I did set my IA AC Loadline to 50. Apparently changing the voltage limit to 1500 does decrease performance, so I did not change that. I did not touch the PL1/PL2 limits at all, but I did disable IA CEP. Edit: Also Intel Default Setting is now set to performance, which should set the...

Question Changing the IA AC Loadline for a stable i9-13900K CPU ?

Photo of my BIOS settings menu. (GIGABYTE Z790 UD AX) Hey y'all, I just got another i9-13900K after the previous one failed (Yes, I'm on the latest BIOS updates/0x12b patch). After the advice of a friend online, I was looking to change the IA AC Loadline to 0.5 (or 50 in my GIGABYTE...

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

Update: My CPU was indeed found to be defective, and I received the replacement CPU today after 2 weeks. The games I mentioned also doesn't crash anymore so.... I think it was the CPU's fault after all. Also, I've been talking to a guy on reddit who has been really helpful so far, he has been...

Oh wow, thanks for the detailed replies guys! @JayGau I wasn't even aware that you could control the cooling pump! I also have no idea what radiator fan preset is lol, this is the first time I'm hearing those words. I just ordered the parts in a computer shop, and they built it for me. I...

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

Alright, I'm back with the CPU numbers. Please note everything is in Celsius. Method I used - Start a timer for 10 minutes. Record the temp at the start of the timer, then record the temperature every minute. Idle Temps - 33, 32, 35, 33, 35, 34, 55, 41, 34, 38, 38. Average - 37 C. Light Load...

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

Thanks for the clarification! I'm away from my PC atm, will update with the numbers tomorrow. Also I know my AIO display can show me the CPU temp results, but what about GPU temps? Which software would you recommend for that?

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

I've been a console guy my entire life, I didn't even know what thermal throttling was until Intel got in touch with me and I had to look it up online. Can you please explain what constitutes as "light load" and "heavy load"? I imagine running the Cyberpunk benchmark would fall into heavy load...

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

I'm away from my PC at the moment, will post BIOS screenshots after I get back. What about IA AC Load Line and IA CEP? Saw a post on reddit about setting the first to 0.5 and IA CEP to disabled.

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

@SkyNetRising I was on Intel Default Settings, within the Intel Default Setting I had the aforementioned 3 options. Can you please explain the settings to look for in the BIOS which you mentioned? I'm not very tech-savvy. Thanks.

Question Is my CPU showing signs of instability ?

Thanks for the quick reply. I do have liquid cooling for my CPU and I only play games, so I don't know what went wrong to cause it to deteriorate. @SkyNetRising I only have 3 options in the BIOS for "Intel Default Settings" - Off, Performance and Extreme. Should I switch it to performance?
