I don't work, that's why I haven't upgraded the CPU yet, I plan on upgrading it in the future to a 4690k and get the GPU now. Probably 280x sapphire vapor one. Thank tou all for the help!

My budget is 350, the 970 would be the most I could get, but I was wondering if the CPU would make it perform mostly the same as a 280x since its not a high end CPU
