try swapping HDMI cables with DVI of your graphich card

go with the nvidia gtx 960 as it is great card for that value and it can handle all games in high with some tweaks in 60+ fps and nearly all games are optimized for the nvidia gtx graphics card and also you get g-sync with nvidia card which makes games look awsome and nvidia gtx 960 hane low...
